Neighbourhood Picnic

Free food, games, prizes, face painting and a raffle are some things you will find at the Neighbour Day Picnic in the Park on Saturday 25 March. Held at Eagleby Wetlands, bring a picnic blanket. For those living in the Eagleby, Beenleigh and surrounding areas, you are invited to meet the community and engage with your neighbours. Hosted by the Beenleigh Neighbourhood centre, this free event is from 11.30am-2.30pm.

Free Food Giveaway

Logan West Community pantry gives back to the community by giving away free food every Wednesday and Friday. A selection of free foods are avaliable, including fruit, vegetables, bread and anything else that is available. It’s at 6 Hamstead Court, Browns Plains, between 11am-2pm.

Outdoor Cinema

Sing 2 will be screening at the Logan Village Green on Sunday 26 March. Attendance is free. Families are asked to bring a blanket or chair to sit on and a gold coin donation for some popcorn. The movie starts at 6pm, and a barbecue will start earlier at 5.30pm. No pets or alcohol.

Creative Career Guidance

Author Rhiannon D. Elton discusses ways to launch a career in the creative industries. The three-hour session is today, from 9am-12.30pm, at the Logan Art Gallery, Logan Central. Tickets are $25.

Renters’ Rights Info Session

For those facing rental issues or who are curious about the rights of tenants, the South East Queensland Union of Renters will be having an information session on Saturday 25 March at the Logan Central Library. The event starts at 1pm.
