We spent considerable time last week distributing the first edition of MyCity Logan to newsagents, service stations, cafes, clubs, supermarkets and shopping centres.
It was hard work. But our spirits were constantly lifted by the remarkable goodwill which sits within our communities.
Businesses are undoubtedly suffering during this pandemic.
But you continue to smile and you continue to recognise the great things people around you are doing.
You have shared word of your fundraisers, of the charitable work of those you know, of the things which make our communities great places to live.
Each and every person who plays their role to help others in some way, shape or form is at the heart of their neighbourhood. You are what makes our communities tick.
So, with that I would like to thank all our readers for embracing Logan’s only 100% locally owned and operated weekly newspaper.
I would also like to make special mention of mental health week this week. Remember to not only ask the question: “Are you okay?”; be sure to continue the conversation.
