LOCAL Property Team recently teamed up with Shorties Espresso Bar, a family-run business, to spend a Saturday morning shouting the local community a coffee.
Coming up to the end of the year, the team wanted to show their appreciation to local people.
Local Property Team has recently gone independent, having previously been with one of the large real estate chains.
The team put a shout out on social media before the event, and had some takers.
Others wandered by and took up the opportunity to “talk property”, particularly with such a booming market.
“There was no obligation to give us anything in return, or even talk with us,” principal Peter Mitchell said.
“But our team had loads of people wanting to speak with our agents about their real estate needs over coffee.
“The day was a success and we can see ourselves teaming up with another local business to do something in the future.”
Mr Mitchell said the day aligned with the new firm’s values of “supporting local”.
