Schools again become the focus of vaccinations this weekend, with pop-up clinics at a number of local schools – increasing in number by the day, and including private school Canterbury College.
Hubs are open from 9am-2pm on Saturday, and will be open for walk-ins.
The state government is imploring people to be vaccinated, in preparation for an opening of state borders on December 17.
All persons aged 12 and over will be accepted as a walk-in during operating hours.
Hub organisers are asking people to arrive by 1pm, and that they take photo ID and their Medicare card if they have one.
Member for Woodridge Cameron Dick said vax hubs made it easier for Logan residents to be vaccinated.
“The Covid vaccine protects you, your loved ones and our community,” Mr Dick said.
“If we don’t get our vax rates up, Delta will be a storm that hits our state when our borders reopen fully in the coming months.
“So please, if you haven’t been vaccinated yet, roll up your sleeve this Saturday at Marsden or Mabel Park State High Schools, or other participating Logan schools.”
