Still life session at Living Museum

Logan creatives can slow down, sketch and experiment with shapes and textures at a still life session in Kingston this month.

Social Saturdays Still Life Sessions: Exploring shapes and textures will be held at 10am on Saturday 20 June at the Living Museum of Logan, 270 Jacaranda Avenue.

Logan Arts says the lightly guided session is open to all experience levels, with a themed still life display and drawing prompts provided.

The workshop is aimed at people who want a relaxed way to practise observation, line, form and texture without needing formal art experience.

Basic materials, including paper, drawing boards, pencils, charcoal, markers and soft pastels, will be available, although participants can bring their own.

The session runs for 1.5 hours, costs $5, and is listed for people aged 15 and older.
