Two Australian Idol icons are set to bring star power and festive cheer to this year’s City of Logan Christmas Carols next month.
Paulini and Rob Mills will headline the entertainment lineup, promising a night of big voices, holiday classics, and crowd favourites.
The pair will share the stage for a special duet performance, and Mr Mills will also serve as master of ceremonies for the evening.
Locals might remember Paulini, a fijian-born singer, from the very first season of Australian Idol, in which she placed fourth.
Since, she has starred onstage in musicals like The Bodyguard and has become one of only 10 Australian female solo artists to have a number one album debut on the ARIA charts.
Rob Mills was also a finalist in the first season of Idol, moving on to work as an actor and appear on shows such as Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Dancing with the Stars.
This year’s carols will take place at Griffith University’s Logan campus in Meadowbrook on Saturday 6 December, from 3pm to 8pm.
Families can look forward to an afternoon promised to be packed with festive fun – including rides, face painting, glitter stations, colouring competitions, and creative workshops where kids can make Christmas cards, ornaments and cookies.
There will be a chance to write letters to Santa, and even take photos with him – for free.
As the sun sets, the stage will come alive with performances from community artists, dance groups, and a lineup of classic and contemporary carols – before a fireworks finale lights up the sky.
The event will also feature food trucks and market stalls offering festive treats and unique Christmas gifts from local makers.
