The Queensland Fire Department warned members of the public in Park Ridge, Boronia Heights, Forestdale, and Greenbank to avoid smoke caused by a fire near the Mount Lindsay Highway.
The warning was issued at 2.43pm on Tuesday, 10 February, and asked residents to stay indoors and avoid driving through smoke.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Emergency website, the fire covered an area of 78ha. The warning was revoked early on Thursday, 12 February.
