SMOKE billowed from a factory fire at Loganholme this morning.
Crews at 9am were still battling the blaze which started early morning.
The fire in Chetwynd St, Loganholme, was under control soon after 8.30am according to a statement from Queensland Fire and Rescue Service.
However, a significant amount of smoke was impacting the surrounding area and motorists were urged to avoid the area as smoke is impacting visibility on the roads.
Nearby residents should close windows and doors, and keep respiratory medications close by if required, the statement said.
