Detectives are looking into whether thieves have embarked on a spree of robberies across the region early last week.
Police said break ins at two tobacconists and a supermarket may be linked.
Late Monday night, two masked offenders forced their way into a Cusack Lane business at Jimboomba where they damaged a number of cupboards inside the store before stealing cigarettes.
The thieves then drove north on the Mount Lindesay Highway.
Less than an hour later, two masked thieves forced their way into a Yarrabilba Drive supermarket at Yarrabilba where they took tobacco items and cash before accelerating away.
Then, shortly before 2am, the same gold car pulls up to the rear of an Eagleby shopping centre where two masked thieves broke in.
They then entered an adjoining business and remove a large number of tobacco products before fleeing in the gold sedan.
