A very dangerous thunderstorm is moving toward the Greenbank area, with the Bureau of Meteorology warning residents to expect large, possibly giant hailstones and damaging, locally destructive winds.
As of 2:30 pm, the storm was detected between Boonah and Beaudesert, tracking northeast and predicted to reach Greenbank and Redbank Plains by around 3:30 pm.
BOM is urging residents to prepare for extreme weather conditions.
