Soroptomist International Beenleigh, a club dedicated to empowering women, are looking for Logan’s most charitable women ahead of the first annual Stella Rickoff Award.
Nominations are now open for people to submit a someone who they think “emulates their work as a woman”.
The award is recognition, and a celebration, of women who volunteer to make their communities better.
It was names after the founder of Soroptimist International Beenleigh, Stell Rickoff.
She established the club in 1988, and has been described as being at the “forefront” of any church, school or community event.

The club meets several times a month for business meetings, casual breakfasts and guest speakers, and they also host fundraisers and community events.
