Shopping centres and libraries are leading the way in offering school holiday activities.
Libraries are splitting their activities between online and in person.
One of the hot activities this holidays will be STEM Punks. There’s a CSI pets version for children 8 and over, which is online.
There’s also a STEAM version for kids which explores robots, art, coding and engineering at the Logan Hyperdome, Jimboomba, Greenbank and Logan Village libraries.
There will also be free craft take-home packs for under 5s, school aged children, and young adults.
At Logan Central Plaza, there will be free kids craft workshops from April 6-10, from 10am until 1pm. The sessions will be at the sectioned-off “Kids at Play” area.
Similarly, Logan City Centre will have craft activities at their “Air Clay Activity Station in the centre court. Their sessions will be from April 13-15 from 11am until 2pm.
Hyperdome has a range of activities with the help of tenants, including mini pizza decorating at Baker’s Delight, shoe lace tying workshops, doughnut decorating, “build your own fidget spinners” and cycling your own smoothie.
Most activities will be in an area near the food court.
