Rochedale Shopping Village has a competition which promises to give back to the community – and not just to the prize winners.
There’s a $2000 travel voucher to win for one lucky person who donates a non-perishable goodie at the Christmas shop set up next to Helloworld.
It’s as simple as that – buy an extra gift of non-perishable food or new items such as toys, clothing, gift vouchers etc, fill out a form on the back of today’s MyCity Logan, and you’re in the draw.
All items raised will be distributed to those in need within the local community by the team from Fishers of Men, an inter-denominational Christian charity helping the poor, needy and homeless.
If you miss out on the big prize, there are also five hams or gift baskets from Drakes, each valued at $50.
New Heart Baptist Church carollers have three more performances at the village – at 10.30am and 12.30pm tomorrow (December 23) and at 4.30pm Christmas Eve.
