Pre-loved market heads to Beenleigh

A market known for its curated collection of pre-loved fashion will be heading to Logan this weekend.

Love Me Again Market is set to take over Distillery Road Market for a special edition event on Satruday, 15 March, offering fashion lovers and bargain hunters the chance to shop sustainably while enjoying a vibrant atmosphere.

The market will feature more than 50 stalls selling quality second-hand clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children.

Shoppers can browse everything from vintage gems to designer labels, all while enjoying live music, food, and drinks.

Love Me Again Market co-owners Isobel Dear and Lana Sciasci said the expansion into Logan was an exciting opportunity to connect with a new community of fashion enthusiasts.

“Logan is a vibrant and diverse area, and we wanted to create an opportunity for locals to experience the fun of selling and shopping circular fashion,” Ms Dear said.

The event will be held inside Distillery Road Market’s dedicated Market Hall, with plenty of food and drink options on-site, including a margarita bar, craft beers from Perentie Brewery, and bites from Sugar Creek Smokehouse, Wing It, Tosadas Mexican, and Slice It.

“Beyond the fashion, there’s a great atmosphere on the day,” Ms Sciasci said.

“Whether it’s grabbing a gourmet taco, sipping on a margarita, or catching up with friends while listening to live music, it’s a full-day experience.”

Sustainability is a key focus for Love Me Again Market, which aims to extend the life cycle of clothing and reduce fashion waste.

“Australia ranks second globally in textile consumption, so we want to break the stigma around pre-loved fashion and offer a sustainable alternative to fast fashion,” Ms Dear said.

“Every item sold is one less piece going to landfill, and over time, that adds up to a huge difference.”

With second-hand shopping becoming more mainstream, Ms Sciasci said many shoppers are turning to pre-loved fashion as a way to express their individual style.

“Rather than seeing the same styles in retail stores, pre-loved markets are full of hidden treasures and unique finds,” she said.

“People are saying no to ultra-fast fashion and investing in better quality, long-wearing pieces.”

Beyond the clothing racks, the event is designed to be a social outing.

Families can enjoy an arcade gallery featuring vintage games, while friends can make a day of it with live music and food.

“It’s more than just shopping, it’s about creating a fun, community-driven experience,” Ms Sciasci said.

The event runs from 1pm to 5pm, with a $3 entry fee.

Children under 12 are free.
