Police search for driver after Greenbank pedestrian death

Police are searching for the driver and occupants of a vehicle after a 20-year-old Greenbank man was struck and killed on Middle Road.

Queensland Police said the man was hit by a vehicle about 8.45pm on Monday 13 July.

He sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

Police said the driver and other occupants of the vehicle were not found at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and working to identify everyone involved and establish the circumstances leading up to the man’s death.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has relevant dashcam, mobile phone or CCTV footage from Middle Road around the time, to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
