Police are investigating a two-vehicle hit and run crash in Browns plains which happened Friday, May 27.
Early information indicates the two cars were being driven South in the left-hand lane of the Mount Lindesay Highway just before 10.30pm when the white SUV collided with the rear of a blue Toyota sedan.
The 30-year-old female driver of the Toyota had minor injuries, and she pulled over following the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle drove away leaving a trail of oil.
Investigators believe the white SUV would have sustained front end and mechanical damage.
The driver of the SUV, anyone with dash cam footage from that area, and any tow truck operators or panel beaters with who had dealings with a similar SUV since Friday are urged to contact police.
