Queensland Police’s annual Dog Squad calendar is returning, with proceeds from the 2027 edition supporting three charities.
The calendar features police and recruit dogs from across Queensland, including general-purpose and specialist detection dogs used to track people, locate evidence and detect substances including explosives.
State Dog Squad Training and Development officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Stu Ellison said more than 100 police dogs and their handlers operated from 15 locations across Queensland.
“Our police dogs are an integral part of frontline policing and are capable of tasks that surpass human ability,” he said.
Dogs featured in the calendar include PD Maloo, PD Stryker, PD Astro, PD Lara and PD Odin.
Proceeds will go to Queensland Police Legacy, SalTy Souls Legacy and children’s hospital television program Juiced TV.
