With the festive season upon us, Rochedale South police are offering some tips to help avoid a break-in.
“Unfortunately, crooks don’t take time off for the holidays so it’s important that we protect our homes by following Santa’s home security tips,” they said.
Tips for home security:
- Decorate your home with CCTV cameras.
- Have some elves collect your mail.
- Shed some light on dark grinch hideouts.
- Trim the front gates with security beware signs.
- Mrs Claus jewelry belongs in a floor bolted safe.
- Secure your sleigh in a lock up garage.
- Wrap things up by locking your castle.
