Pillion passenger’s brazen fast food heist

THE pillion passenger of a motorbike has stolen money from the service window area of fast food outlets last night.

The rider and passenger, both men, repeated the dose at three fast food drive-through windows before speeding off.

No one was physically injured however on one occasion staff were threatened with a metal bar and a female teenage employee pushed out of the way, police said.

In another incident, the service window was smashed.

The incidents occurred over a three hour period, with the first at University Drive, Meadowbrook at 6.40pm.

The second was at an Edenlea Drive, Meadowbrook, at 8.30pm and the third at around 9.30pm at a Browns Plains Road.

The rider of the motorbike was wearing dark clothing and the pillion passenger a white top. Both had dark coloured helmets.

Police are appealing for anyone with information which can assist with this investigation to contact them.
