A man, aged 41, has died after a single vehicle crash at Tamborine last night.
Police said the accident happened soon after 6pm.
The man was a passenger in a car that was travelling on Williamson Road near Waterford Tamborine Road when it left the roadway and crashed into a pole.
He was from Thornlands.
He sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver, a 24-year-old Alexandra Hills woman, was transported to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area at that time is urged to contact police.
