When the architects were building this “Palm Springs Boho” house at Woodhill, they wanted to showcase acreage living as a lifestyle which encompasses more than expected.
It’s a display home built by Oracle Platinum which has recently been put to market, for sale at just over $1.4 million, sitting on 1.5 hectares of land.
The home is called Arcadia and the brief was to build a home that was “different, embraces its surrounds and offers an abundance of practical living possibilities, whilst still ticking all the traditional acreage boxes”.
The Arcadia is easily distinguishable from the highway, with a matching façade front and rear, overlooking mountain views.
It features a seamless flow from the living and dining area through large stacking doors and a servery out onto a large under-roof alfresco, kitchenette and pool area.
There are six bedrooms, three bathrooms and enough space to garage three cars.
“Large on paper, generous to say the least in person, this trendy spin on traditional acreage living radiates space and is now finished with a striking entrance and timeless Boho style façade complete with intricate detailing, fit for only a home this grand,” an representative for the builder said.
“Our designers placed great importance on privacy for each member of the family incorporating a separate kid’s retreat, media room and attached two bedroom studio.”
There’s a modern fireplace, themed veejay board walls, architectural-curved windows, rock feature walls and quality finishings.
The feature ceiling bulkhead in the living and dining area is stark, and demands attention.
Designed to be in harmony with nature, the pool overlooks a paddock, again emphasising the core attraction of the home – space.
