Old is gold for state splurge

Heritage conservation projects will be prioritised by state government funding rounds.

Between $5000 and $50,000 will be available to support groups hosting events to “promote community understanding, appreciation, and engagement” with heritage-listed places in the city.

These events include exhibitions, lectures or tours, seminars, workshops, open houses, performances, and festivals.

Funding can be used for repairing facilities or updating technology like touch screens and interactive displays, or even for online virtual tours.
