No neighbours, just ‘roos at Mona Mansion

With a house bigger than most new residential blocks, Jimboomba’s 206 Mona Drive spans more than 2.8ha.

Offering plenty of space – both cleared and bushland – the property is a gardener’s dream.

But sales agent Luke Clarkson from Stewart Estate Agents said the homestead would suit anyone.

Once you drive down the long driveway, through the manicured gardens and past the dam, you arrive at the main residence, which opens up with “big doors and big standing windows” to overlook the bush.

Inside, the master suite includes a fully-renovated ensuit and walk-in robe.

One of the living areas features bi-fold doors that connect to the backyard, while the other has a built-in bar.

Apart from the kangaroos and wildlife, the house is “very private”.

“It doesn’t really have any neighbours,” Mr Clarkson said.

The property includes a pool, a shed, a carport, a caravan port, a fire pit, a one-bedroom studio and a self-contained granny flat.

The granny flat has a full-sized kitchen, a bathroom and laundry.

Mr Clarkson said it could be used to host family or as a rental.

The studio could be used the same way, or as a home office, teenagers retreat, or art studio.

Mr Clarkson says the property is worth between $1.7-1.8 million.

“There are a lot of other places around the $1.2-1.4 million range but most of those places are [4000sqm],” he said.

“In the bigger estates, there are not that many houses with that land size, privacy and house size.”
