Yarrabilba’s new post office is the fourth of Australia Post’s next-generation post offices focusing on parcel delivery to open across the country.
Australia Post general manager retail operations north Sarah Coe said the Parcels Post Office at 1-7 Waldron Street was designed to make sending, collecting and returning parcels faster and more convenient.
“The number one reason customers visit a post office is to collect a parcel, so we’re making it quicker and easier to collect and send parcels at a time that suits them,” Ms Coe said.
Yarrabilba Parcels still provides in-person assistance, alongside self-service options, including 24/7 access to secure parcel lockers and accessible vending machines stocked with packaging, stamps and other mailing essentials.
