Neighbourless Wolffdene property brims with opportunity

Private, peaceful, and central. It seems like a contradiction, but some properties can balance all three traits at once.

Wolffdene’s 65 Neagle Road is one of them, estate agent Samantha Marshall said.

“A lot of people want to get away from high-density living, but they still want to be close enough to be able to commute to work.

“It’s a 16-minute drive to Beenleigh, approximately 45 minutes to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.”

“It’s sort of a lifestyle block in the city.”

The block is over 20 hectares – 3.2 of which can be used for horses or to build additional residences, subject to council approval.

Surrounding bushland has been zoned in the environmental management and conservation category, so it is highly unlikely neighbours will be moving into the adjacent land plots.

“Some people don’t want a property that’s subdivided, they want to have some peace and quiet and they don’t want neighbours close by,” Ms Marshall said.

“The size of the land with its access to Beenleigh, the cities, the M1, and it’s also really peaceful and private, makes the property very desirable.”

Current owners have infused the four-bedroom, one bathroom property with lots of charm and character, Ms Marshall said.

Interest from buyers with home-based businesses or horses has shown considerable interest in the property due to its land size and development possibilities.

The home’s yard is fully fenced, and a horse shelter is already installed on the property.
“It [interest in the property] seems to be from people who want to run a home-based business there and people with horses.

“It would be great for someone who just wants to escape the rat race and or for people looking for dual living or multiple generational living possibilities, because there’s plenty of space to do that.”
