A plan designed to boost the live music scene in Logan is about to launch online forums in a bid to get the creative juices flowing.
The Music Action Plan is supported by council and state government, and aims to find ways to collaborate with local venues, artists and businesses to help enrich the city’s live music scene.
Local artists, venue owners, music business operators and industry members are invited to take part in the online forums from 5.30pm to 7.30pm today (September 14) and next Tuesday.
Councillor Laurie Koranski said the two sessions would allow the local industry to come together to discuss challenges they are facing.
“It is an ideal opportunity to explore new ways to support the growth and sustainability of the music scene across our region,” she said.
“I encourage everyone with an interest in our live music scene to take part.”

Those interested in the local music scene can also let their views be known through two online surveys – one for the community and the other for industry representatives and artists.
