With humble beginnings, out the back of a tradie ute in 2008, Munster has delivered extensive growth and employment opportunity, today employing in excess of 100 full-time permanent employees, an increase from 30 employees in 2019.

Trained, equipped and proactive, Munster truly invests in the future of its people and has 21 trade apprentice and trainee programs, which will exceed 45 by the end of 2021.

They provide and maintain the safety qualifications required in heavy industry, invest in lifelong career development opportunities and fund tickets and qualifications in High-Risk Work courses, Heavy Rigid Truck Licenses and degree programs for their people.

Backed by Munster’s accredited Safety, Quality and Environment Management system, they are empowering employees to deliver safe work practice, quality outcomes and enhance the environment for the communities they serve.

They engage with local schools, training institutions and organisations such as Head Space, Salvation Army, Career Shift, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnership (DSADSTSIP) and Access Community Services in providing work experience, employment opportunities, trade apprenticeships and professional skills training for people from all backgrounds.

As part of Munster’s efforts to encourage the participation of women in trades, they have sponsored the Mable Park State High School Girls Rugby League Program, with $10,000, to highlight the opportunity to work in a trade through Munster while supporting healthy life outcomes.

As a result, Munster has a work experience student from Mable Park State High who will become thier first full time female apprentice boilermaker on completion of schooling this November and will be the first of many women to develop a career trade with Munster.

Focused on local opportunity, Munster buys everything itcan through local businesses and are active in the Logan Chamber of Commerce. In 2020, Munster brought manufacturing back to Queensland by fabricating inlet screens in their new Stapleton workshop.

Munster supports local and international charities such as Wateraid, Substation33, the 1200kms for Kids Charitable Bike Ride, a Veterans Retreat in Gympie, Lifesaving Queensland, Rochdale Rovers, the Kawana Board Riders Association, the Australia CEO Challenge as well as Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Groups.

Munster has brought tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, to charity and community programs, through direct donation and in-kind-support and through the engagement of industry partners and suppliers, truly delivering positive outcomes in our communities, especially in Logan.

Munster has the right people on site, trained, equipped and proactively delivering exceptional trade services and have worked tirelessly in the face of the global pandemic to grow employment opportunities in Logan and SEQ while delivering essential services to our communities putting Queenslanders first.
