A very loud shout out of appreciation and gratitude to the young mum who returned my debit card.
Sitting on the chairs outside Kmart at the Hyperdome my card fell out of my pocket. So, when wife and grandkids collected me, we stood up and fled to the car park.
The young mum sitting opposite bottle feeding bub noticed the card. She finished feeding bub, packed bub into the stroller and chased us into the car park. In my opinion no small feat in itself.
We were parked on the far side of the car park and before we were loaded into the car young mum arrives hands my wife the card and vanishes back the way she came.
Her large act of kindness has saved me many days of inconvenience, head scratching and frustration before reporting my card lost. Then the ongoing drama of having to replace it.
