The second annual International Men’s Night Gala Dinner, organised by A Chance For Change and Division 4 Councillor Nathan St Ledger, drew an enthusiastic crowd supporting the initiative.
A Chance For Change is a not-for-profit organisation, founded with a mission to combat depression and suicide among men by breaking down societal stigmas and redefining what it means to be a man in modern Australia.
The sold-out event featured a speaker panel that included NRL legends Johnathan Thurston and Wendell Sailor, who shared their thoughts on men’s mental health.
Attendees raised $20,000 for ACFC through auctions and other activities on the night.
Nathan was happy with the event and thankful to the Logan community for showing up in numbers.
“We are forever grateful for the ongoing support we get from the community,” he said.
“The continued support means that we can continue doing what we do.”
