Markets looking for clear point of difference

DISTILLERY Road Markets Trucks and Tunes is back on Saturday February 11 with a line-up of food trucks, artisan market stalls and live entertainment.

Snap a picture with your valentine in ‘Valarie’ the pop-up Vintage Caravan photo booth, or try your hand at painting with Cork & Chroma as they host a mega paint and sip event for Valentine’s Day from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Bookings essential.

It’s the start of a new year for Trucks and Tunes which is planning some different ideas for later in the calendar – think “free movies, roller rinks and more”, say the organisers.

Meanwhile, the Thursday markets are on February 16, with 25 market stalls, and showcasing some of the region’s quality, locally-made products and artisan wares.

There will be a selection of foods, spices, fresh meats and small goods, handmade artisan wares, pet products, and plants.

Local musicians will be playing. It’s off Exit 35 of the M1 Motorway. Entry is free.
