As the weather warms, Distillery Road Markets is taking on new life.
With numerous local artisan vendors trading inside DRM’s Market Hall space, marketgoers can shop a wide range of handmade, ethical, and sustainable wares from traders, and fresh produce from local growers, meats, preserves, bulk foods, artisan wares, plants and more.
The next markets are from 4pm-8pm on October 20, with a “trucks & tunes” event on Saturday October 29 from 4pm-9pm.
It’s a spooky Halloween edition pop-up market hosted by BrisStyle, featuring lively local entertainment, makers, and market stalls.
In the meantime, there’s a DIY dried flower arrangement workshop from 6pm-7.30pm this coming Thursday night. This 1.5 hour workshop will provide all the materials needed to create a beautiful, seasonal dried and preserved flower arrangement.
At the markets, enjoy some gourmet eats and treats from Pickle and Zest (jams, preserves and honey), Ohh de Naturale (Handmade Beauty Products), The Spice Stall (Spices and Teas) and much more.
Visitors can also enjoy the enticing fare of onsite outlets Sugar Creek Smokehouse, Kiwanda Café, Posadas Cantina and a rotating roster of local food trucks, each time you visit.
With free entry, parking and entertainment, the market aims to be a display of local marketeers and food vendors.
