A Slacks Creek man, 41, has died after a shooting at Rowanda Street in Slacks Creek early this morning, police said.
Police believe the shooting was a targeted incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
At around 1.14am this morning, police and paramedics arrived at Rowanda Street, where they found the 41-year-old with critical injuries, including what police said appeared to be a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition, where he was declared dead.
Police said their investigations are ongoing and urged anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage related to the incident to contact them.
