A man is in hospital after police say he was hit by a car during a road rage incident at Shailer Park.
According a police statement, an argument broke out between the drivers of a Holden Commodore and a Mazda 2 on the Mandew Street overpass at about 7.20pm on 9 August.
“During the altercation, an unknown vehicle, which was travelling in the opposite direction has struck a man in his 60s,” the statement read.
The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious but not critical injuries.
The driver of the unknown vehicle, who police say failed to stop at the scene, has been urged to contact police.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses or persons with vision of the incident, to also come forward.
