A 45-year-old man is fighting for his life after a car crash in New Beith on Sunday night (23 June).
Police say a Chrysler station wagon and a Dodge Ram utility collided shortly after 9am while travelling in opposite directions along New Beith Road at Pub Lane.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, the 45-year-old Silkstone man driving the Chrysler was hospitalised with “life-threatening head and chest injuries”.
The Dodge driver, a 56-year-old Springfield Lakes man, was hospitalised with minior injuries to his chest and abdomen.
A teenage boy, who was a passenger in the ute, was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating and have urged witnesses or anyone with information to contact police.
