A man has been charged after allegedly threatening a Springwood fast-food worker with a knife and stealing cash on Sunday 27 September.
Police say that the man entered the Springwood Road restaurant just before midnight with his face covered and demanded money from a 24-year-old employee.
Patrolling officers arrested him on North Rochedale Road after he fled on foot.
Police say that he discarded cash and his face-covering, which officers recovered.
Nobody was physically injured.
The 34-year-old Norman Park man, charged with armed robbery, was due before Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 28 September.
