A man alleged to be selling cars with rolled back odometer readings in four Logan suburbs will face court.
Detectives from the Major Organised Crime Squad said they would allege the 38-year-old man was purchasing used cars and then rolling back the odometers before selling them on websites and social media.
Detectives executed search warrants last Friday (12 May) at four addresses in Logan Central, Daisy Hill, Slacks Creek and Rochedale.
They allegedly discovered 115 vehicles – including utlities and vans – at the Rochedale property, with one containing an odometer rolled back to zero kilometres.
The man was taken into custody from a Logan Central address.
He has been charged with 26 offences, including six counts of fraud (dishonestly gain benefit/advantage), two counts of attempted fraud, three counts each of drive uninsured vehicle and unregistered vehicle and one count each of uttering, using, driving vehicle with no number plate, forgery and contravene order.
He will reappear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday 29 May.
