Two people were assaulted inside their Boronia Heights home during an armed home invasion, according to police.
Police in a statement said two people, carrying what is believed to be guns, “gained access” to a residence on Hobson Place at about 10.35pm on 18 May.
“Once inside, the pair assaulted a 21-year-old man and 19-year-old woman,” the statement read.
“The offenders then stole property, before fleeing in a black van with a third person.”
Both the man and woman sustained minor head and facial injuries.
Officers from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information or CCTV or dash-camera footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
