A 24-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a house fire at Crestmead early this morning.
Emergency crews were called to a Price Court house at around 1.30pm following reports of a “large fire”.
The building was completely engulfed in flames by the time police arrived on scene, and suffered substantial damage.
“The occupants were able to safely flee the residence and no one was physically injured,” police said in a statment.
“A crime scene was declared while investigators determine the cause of the fire.”
A 24-year-old man, who was taken into custody at Southport, is assisting police with their inquiries.
