A man, 18, was in a critical condition Saturday morning after his car crashed into bushland at Wolffdene.
Police said it was a single-vehicle crash, and the man was the sole occupant.
At about 1.40am, the car was headed towards Beenleigh on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road when it left the road, police said.
The 18-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Investigators are seeking any witnesses or those with relevant dashcam footage to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is continuing.
