Mabel Park innovators

Students from Mabel Park State High School last week spent their time building solar lights, water filters and prosthetic hands, taking them a step closer towards their STEM careers.

With the support of industry professionals, 180 aspiring scientists from years 7-10 learned about the STEM industry, including how they could help address global challenges such as energy poverty and water sanitation.

This is part of a larger partnership between Mabel Park State High and Origin.

More than 125 Origin volunteers and around 750 students have participated in the program since it began in 2015.
