Loganlea man dies in motorway crash

A Loganlea man has died after a two-car crash on the Logan Motorway at Tanah Merah on Saturday afternoon.

Queensland Police said a silver Mitsubishi Triton and a grey Mazda hatchback were involved in a crash in the westbound lanes, near the Drews Road on-ramp, shortly before 3pm on 6 June.

Police said the Mitsubishi then left the road and rolled.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, a 61-year-old Loganlea man, died at the scene.

The Mazda driver, a 39-year-old Hillcrest woman, and her passenger, a 39-year-old Hillcrest man, were not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anyone who saw the crash or has relevant dashcam footage has been urged to contact police.
