Loganlea man dies after ute crashes into motorway pylons

A Loganlea man, 23, died after the ute he was a passenger in crashed into an overpass pylon under the Pacific Motorway in Eagleby.

An Eagleby man, 24, who was driving the black Toyota ute at the time it crashed, was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police said at around 1am on Saturday, 14 March, the ute crashed into the pylons just past the roundabout on Brigade Drive.

The Loganlea man was taken to hospital in a critical condition but died shortly after in hospital.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has footage of the crash to come forward.

Their investigations into the matter are ongoing, police said.
