Logan Village man to face charges of 60 traffic offences

Police have charged a Logan Village man, 22, with 60 traffic-related offences they say were committed on the same day across Logan, Brisbane and Ipswich.

He is expected to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 21 January to face the charges, which include dangerous driving, driving without a license, speeding, and running a red light.

At around 4.45pm on 1 January, police allege that officers patrolling Waterford Tamborine Road in Logan Village saw a learner driver on a motorbike, with concealed registration plates, travelling at 113km, 30km faster than the speed limit.

Police said they located the man at his address nearby a short time later.

Investigations into the man uncovered “60 traffic-related offences that day”, police allege.

“Including the rider standing on the seat of his motorcycle while conducting a wheelie, travelling at 114km along the Pacific Motorway at Eight Mile Plains.”
