Logan locals have called on Logan City Council to deliver more awareness and education initiatives surrounding public parking.
Council’s new parking enforcement plan adopted last week was based on more than 400 submissions from local residents.
91 per cent of responses called for more education and awareness to support improved parking practices around schools and disabled parking areas, as well as a focus on narrow residential streets.
Council have responded by announcing a series of initiatives set to be undertaken of the next three years, including marketing campaigns, replacing damaged signs, and hosting awareness forums.
