Logan district police officer Kellie Dale was named Mentor of the Year, at the Queensland Police Service International Women’s Day awards.
Mental health social worker from the Logan district, Louisa Barrow was highly commended in the trailblazer award category.
The annual awards celebrate the contribution of women across the Queensland Police Service, State Emergency Service and Marine Rescue Queensland.
The event recognises leadership, mentorship and efforts to improve opportunities for women across emergency services.
