For the oddest challenge this month, compete in Jimboomba Community Garden’s Costa-Crow competition.
The objective is to build a lifelike scarecrow depicting TV landscaper Costa Georgiadis, including his iconic beard, hair and garden attire.
Anyone can enter, including singles, duos and groups.
The rules of the competition are: scarecrows must be made from recyclable materials; no glass, sharp edges or breakable parts; there must be a sturdy base or stake to secure the scarecrow to the ground; and the design must include a sunflower (either real or decorative).
The allowed maximum size of scarecrows is two metres high and 1.5 metres wide.
Categories for the competition are: Costa’s twin, Best Dressed and Completely Outrageous.
Entries will be judged by the audience and Mr Georgiadis himself.
