Nominations for the 2024 City of Logan Australia Day Awards close on Sunday 26 November at 5pm.
The Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year are awarded to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the local community over a number of years.
The awards will be presented on Friday 26 January, 2024.
This year’s Citizen of the Year was Berrinba resident Rachel Simpkin-Bale, who was recognised for her work advocating against domestic violence for the last 30 years.
Bravehearts youth ambassador Amelia Ayris was named the 2023 Young Citizen of the Year for her volunteer work advocating for child safety.
