Joining the Canterbury family

Canterbury College is a dynamic Early Learning Centre to Kindergarten to Prep, and all the way to Year 12 private Anglican co-ed boys and girls school, serving the communities of Logan City, southern Brisbane and the northern Gold Coast.

Originally a dairy farm, Canterbury College sits on 30.2 hectares of natural bushland, grassed ovals and landscaped grounds in Waterford – proudly part of the wider Logan community.

The College was established in 1987 by local Anglican Church parishioners, who wanted a faith-based co-educational pre-school to Year 12 school, serving the then Albert and Logan Shires.

Today our School Motto is: Fortior Quo Paratior which means: The better prepared, the stronger.

And our School Vision is: To inspire and nurture confident, optimistic and compassionate young people who are ready for the world.

This is why our core mantra is ‘World Ready’ – doing everything we can to help produce well-rounded academic, active, happy, successful and healthy graduates.

Our six College Values are pivotal in all aspects of Canterbury life being: Respect, Integrity, Community, Scholarship, Compassion and Social Responsibility.

We are always looking for scholarship application students skilled in General Academics, Mathematics, Music – including Rock and Choral, Volleyball, Cricket, Football and e-Sports.

So please visit the ‘Admissions’ page on our website to find the next Principal’s Tour and Scholarships Exam dates, as your very first step to joining our happy Canterbury family…
