Organisers of Racing Together, a program designed to help young Indigenous Australian participate in motorsports as mechanics, engineers and drivers, are on the search for new members.

A candidate evaluation weekend will be held on Saturday 14 October and Sunday 15 October.

Candidates will be tested in the areas of basic manual dexterity, potential driving ability, social and interview skills, and hand-eye coordination.

All candidates having the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a car and a go-kart, and participate in other activities.

The Saturday session will be conducted at Queensland Raceway and the Sunday session at Norwell Motorplex in Logan.

A bus will transport candidates from the Logan area to Queensland Raceway and return.

The Open Days are free and available to boys and girls aged 13 to 18.
