The identity of a woman who died in a car crash at Priestdale last week has been confirmed as Irish expat Carol Early.
Police said a sedan was headed north on Ford Road when it collided with a utility on the roundabout at Priestdale Road, before hitting a power pole and bursting into flames.
A GoFundMe page has been set up on behalf of Ms Early’s husband, Tony Buckley to raise money for the funeral and to take Ms Early’s remains to Ireland.
So far almost $40,000 has been raised, surpassing the original goal of $5,000.
Investigations into the accident are continuing.
